Cancer Trials Ireland<\/h2>\n

Cancer Trials Ireland est la principale organisation de recherche en essais cliniques sur le cancer en Irlande, d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 l'am\u00e9lioration des soins oncologiques par le biais d'essais cliniques. Travaillant avec 98 % des sp\u00e9cialistes irlandais traitant le cancer \u2014 notamment des oncologues m\u00e9dicaux, chirurgicaux et radioth\u00e9rapeutes, des h\u00e9matologues, des infirmi\u00e8res de recherche, des scientifiques en recherche translationnelle et des gestionnaires de donn\u00e9es \u2014 l'organisation soutient et supervise plus de 100 essais actifs impliquant des milliers de patients. <\/p>\n

Cancer Trials Ireland collabore avec des groupes de recherche internationaux tels qu'ECOG, NRG et ANZUP, ainsi qu'avec des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s pharmaceutiques mondiales, \u00e9tendant certains essais \u00e0 travers l'Europe, comme l'\u00e9tude NeoAEGIS. En tant qu'organisme de bienfaisance enregistr\u00e9 \u00e0 but non lucratif, l'organisation est partiellement financ\u00e9e par le Health Research Board (HRB) et l'Irish Cancer Society, avec un soutien suppl\u00e9mentaire provenant de dons philanthropiques et de revenus issus de services d'essais fournis \u00e0 des partenaires industriels. <\/p>\n

Au-del\u00e0 de la conduite d'essais, Cancer Trials Ireland joue un r\u00f4le essentiel dans le plaidoyer politique, l'engagement des parties prenantes et la formation des professionnels en oncologie. Cancer Trials Ireland est fier d'\u00eatre l'un des 26 partenaires issus de 15 pays diff\u00e9rents collaborant dans ce projet financ\u00e9 par l'UE. Professeur Seamus O'Reilly<\/h3>\n

Le professeur Seamus O'Reilly BSc MD PhD FRCPI est directeur clinique chez Cancer Trials Ireland. Le professeur O'Reilly est oncologue m\u00e9dical consultant au Cork University Hospital. Dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l'University College Galway, il a suivi une formation en oncologie m\u00e9dicale au John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD, o\u00f9 il a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 professeur adjoint en oncologie m\u00e9dicale et a obtenu un doctorat en investigation clinique ax\u00e9 sur la pharmacologie du cancer. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 directeur national de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 en oncologie m\u00e9dicale au Royal College of Physicians de 2013 \u00e0 2021. Il est administrateur fondateur et copr\u00e9sident de Cork ARC Cancer Support House, r\u00e9dacteur adjoint de BJC reports et membre du conseil ex\u00e9cutif du Breast International Group. <\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ausra Teiserskiene, PhD <\/h3>\n

Ausra Teiserskiene, PhD, est chef de projet clinique senior chez Cancer Trials Ireland. Elle poss\u00e8de plus de 10 ans d'exp\u00e9rience dans la gestion d'essais cliniques en oncologie, d'abord en tant qu'attach\u00e9e de recherche clinique, puis en tant que chef de projet clinique. Ses principaux domaines d'expertise sont le cancer du sein et de la prostate. De plus, elle est responsable des op\u00e9rations pour le sous-groupe sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les maladies du sein chez Cancer Trials Ireland. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9e de l'ex\u00e9cution de divers essais initi\u00e9s par des investigateurs et de la gestion d'essais cliniques en Irlande men\u00e9s par divers groupes collaboratifs internationaux et soci\u00e9t\u00e9s pharmaceutiques.
